cannot setup netscape-email 7.01

unfortunately i installed all kind of security-tools before installing netscape-email 7.01 in a winme-system.
after deactiving everything(i hope) except antivir and outpost i encounter problems setting up the account.
i can see two standard-smtp-accounts which cannot be deleted. its says
two installed accounts would probably not work the system. but its impossible to delete. delete button is deactivated. i can install a third one(non-standard). i deinstalled and reinstalled netscape without success. maybe it was no a clean deinstall. how can i do this? or, how can i find the problem?
i could use firefox, but there is(still is?) a spywareblaster problem.
hotmail/internet explorer is working. outlook is not installed. and will not be.

Sounds like you have multiple issues... first things first, what is your spyware blaster issue?

it was not the first time i had problems. i must really make a check-up-list. i am on the way finding it out by checking multiple pcs. it could really be related to other setting outside netscape. i will report soon. on different pcs i have different netscape versions. 7.0, 7.01, 7.02.
i will not care about firefox/spywareblaster-issue at the moment. netscape/spywareblaster are working fine together.

i could make netscape-email run on all except my latest pc.
outgoing(smtp)-mail is blocked.
i switched to hotmail. spywareblaster and spywareguard is deinstalled. outpost has been reinstalled but not with automatic program-detection.
when i try hotmail it says: emial-client not installed. pc is completely clean now.
should i install windows me over the old one first?
regarding email-browser i must decide between netscape702 base (12mb) netscape full 34mb or firefox 0.8. the problem with spywareblaster seem to be solved with newest version 3.2.
what about mozilla? i am really confused now. netscape, mozilla, firefox
i need german version.

i took this occasion to installed new firefox 092-browser plus thunderbird-emailclient.
it is now working fantastically.
tips:
1. even if not set-password-window is popping up when entering thunderbird directly- just click break-off-button
( does anybody know how deactivating this window?)

2. if using older version of firefox-spywareblaster-detection is failing.

i also changed antivirus. i have now norman personal firewall 1.3. antivir does not even have loxoscam-virus listed!!!!
outpost is my firewall
program detection is wonderful.
i would install browser and email-client first, then firewall. any objection?

i arcor.de-mailbox i had a problem: when sending or answering email, i had to relaod the site otherwise screen would be blank. maybe its a popup issue(must be activated-allowed)
first i had firefox 0.8 german installed (from pc-welt.de magazine). then irecognized that spywareblaster detects onlyversion 0.92(not yet available in german).
maybe it would be wise not to change. no more problems with english/german expresssions when asking here....no problem, i will first consult firefox help.
