Have a MSI K7T Turbo2 board,
Was using an athlon 1700+,
Son upgraded his system to Athlon 3200 cpu and gave me his Athlon 2600+ 333,
Successfully updated my BIOS to V3.6 which is supposed to enable support for 2600+ (I realize this could mean 2600+ 266 - it doesn't specify),
Jumper on board is open to enable 133,
The fastest I can get it recognized is 2000+,
I did this by setting the core voltage to 1.65, the speed to 133, and the multiplier to default,
It doesn't give me the option of multiplier 12.5 (correct for the 333 with speed set to 166) or of multiplier 16 (correct for the 266 with speed set to 133),
I have tried multiplier 15 (the highest option) x 133,
I've also tried multiplier 12 and 13 x 166,
I've rcvd results from 733 to 1800+ and 1900+
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
