For an extra £2 you get more than double the NTL offerings!

On NTL at 160k connection £17.99 a month gets you 17k max

AOL as far as I know is giving 600k for £19.99

I dont even bother with NTL Mail anymore, the lack of basic spam filters is horrendous, and the fact i was getting mail for Carl.wilson and Carl.woods (i.e. people who aint me) sent to my account speaks volumes

Yeah Im having to use Death2spam to sort out all my NTL email accounts!

Its about high time NTL sorted out the spam on their servers - Its probably why they are down half the time!

The amount of spam is really quite the worst ive seen on any ISP.
And most of it is very sexually explicit (WE'RE TALKING FARMYARD GIRLS HERE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) - Not good for the family NTL image!

Get yer finger out yer big fat bahooky NTL and get some spam filters on thay email servers!

Im with telewest (part of ntl???) i been upgraded from 512 k to 750k for almost 3 months now . average dl speed for files is around the 100k. On UK game servers i can reach a 10-15 ping! Most happy with it and with telewest in general so far.

The max download speed for 750kilobits per second is 93.75. (Do the maths!)

Yep just dl a map mod for quake at 16.6 mb and peaked at 102kbs but held steady between 92-97kbs. on different sites though it can go down to as low as 15kbs (snail).On a server in cardiff, with less than 10 players on the server i got ping of 8! (peak, avrge constant ...15)With telewest also there is no restriction on bandwidth, and using the spit cable method with the shortest wire from the jack to the modem (cable tv box and modem basically next to each other). telewest do not disconnect you when reaching the 250mb dl limit a day either.
