I was trying to install an sbc browser to a friends pc and got this error message.

Yreg host

The program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

Can anyone tell me what exactly happened and how can I fix it?

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling?

You don't have to install the SBC/Yahoo software. Explore the CD and install Enternet 300 instead.

Call SBC for assistance.

Now it's stuck on the 98 title screen and wont go further. Boot disk has me waiting a long time and scandisk is doing about the same.

Here seems to be the problem.

Please insert windows 98 disk 2.

I don't have that disk.
