HI. I'm having trouble with some kind of browser redirect which keeps sending me to porn pages when I open my browser. It doesn't change my home page so it's not like a HiJacker, at least not in that respect. I've run my AV program, AdAware, Spybot, CWSShredder, and HiJack This; each with the latest updates. They all come back clean. Any ideas how I'm getting redirected, and how to stop it? Thanks in advance...

Stop using your left hand to browse, bring your right hand up from under the desk and onto the mouse;)

Have you run Spybot or Adaware? If not, get them and run them.
Adaware here (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/)
Spybot here (http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-2)
Good luck and welcome to sysopt:t

You can also get SPyware Blaster, install it, and update. You can update manually without a paid subscription. Enable protection for all items. There is a screen under tools in spyware blaster that will allow you to edit entires for IE such as home, search, etc... Simply select the one you do not like and type in a new address or copy and paste the MS defaults from one of the other entries.
I use it all the time to fix weird IE redirects and other problems the standard tools miss.

Is the address on your browser something like this ?
res://xxxxx.dll/index.html#96676 (Substitute the x's for random letters)
If so get ready to do some work

I would suggest using HijackThis and posting your log at the Spywareinfo forum:

Try this too:

Greetings
You want to check here:
C:\documents and settings\(your name)\local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\
Start >search >type in the above in the top text box
leave index.dat highlight and delete all else you find :r
This is micrsoft's hidden temporary folder and doesn't always delete with internet options >delete files, cookies, and history and may be storing megs of info. slowing down your computer
Good luck
