One of my customers has just had to reinstall windows and all the office software he had. We did the Files and Settings backup thing and everyhting seemed to be okay until we got to outlook.
His old email account (called Bob, uppercase B)) simply didn't get backed up with the rest of the settings and files.

We went ahead and set up the email accounts again, 'bob' (all lowercase) for him and 'oli' for his wife.
Now it seems that the original account of 'Bob' did copy across but just isn't visible. Whenever he does a send/receive the 'Bob' accounts bombs out with an error.

I've included a pic of the actual accounts Vs the accounts that outlooks believes exist.

Any idea how I can get rid of the Bob account?

You might try going to Properties>General and uncheck [] Include this account when recieving mail or syncronizing.

The problem is that the Bob account does not appear when you do this.
Outlook doesn't seem to be able to see the account except when trying to send/receive mail.
