Looking for PC Chess Game with Battle Animations?

I used to have a simple chess game on my old Amiga that had battle functions like if a queen took a pawn, the queen would slap the pawn, horse took rook, it would eat, etc... anybody know of a pc game along those lines, heh. Just want a chess game that's a bit more lively in 3D. :)

Battle Chess, yeah that could possibly be it, THANKS! Shame i can't get it to run on XP, nor can i get Battle Chess 4000 to run as they are both old DOS compatible versions. As for War Chess, man, that looks awesome. Shame it's on the PS2 though!

Oh, deary me... my mistakes, should've searched further for War Chess. Can't find a demo though, retail only in US, looks like import. As for Battle Chess, i'll re-download it and have another go at getting it to work in XP, maybe visit some more forums. :)

I honestly meant to have a "c**ck" at getting the game working on XP, as it is freely distributed on the web. My sincerest apologies though. Thanks to Vitalka for warning me about the potential problem. :D

Well actually i meant to say that talking about c******g (or downloading) the game is not something that should be discussed on this forums. Just becaase it is on the internet, it doesn't mean that it's legal to use it. If some of us do use it, then it should be kept to them selves to stay away from trouble.
