No one can touch that N64, that was a very good console. If I had a second vote, I'd have to go for the XBOX.

I like the original Nintendo. The games are the best and so many of them.:D

I chose the N64 since i loved the games on it, (conker's bad fur day, mario kart, golden eye ++++) and i've spent way more time on it than my xbox.

i dont use any console, but i think the best is the x-box. technically it is the best for sure. at the beginning the ps2 had better games, but i think, that now the x-box also has the better games. but i dont need anything else for gaming, because i have a pc... the only console i ever had was the super nintendo, but i was a child at that time and i wouldnt play the games i played back then anymore now (super mario,...).

Online play come's built in, the best graphic's out there with a now large game library, short of PC's. Plus the headset is a nice feature, though the one that comes with the live package I replaced immidiately with a better one, thankfully they used a standard 3.5mm jack so any headset will do. Plus unlimited save's w/o having to even worry about a memory card, and game updates/patches.

The X-BOX

For me no new technology has replaced how much fun I had with the original Nintendo. The NES was my first real console (not quite old enough to play Atari when it was new, but still played a bunch) and although the graphics have improved the old games are STILL a blast to play.

In the past I have found myself going back and playing the old NES games, and some SNES, but don't think I have ever gone back to my old PS1 games, and even my older PS2 titles sit on the shelf.

Xbox
though n64 got me in to console gaming, also if it hadn't been for the n64's 4 controller slots we would probably only have 2 slots like the ps2 pulled.

I have over 200 original NES titles. Love those old games. :)

I like the PS1 and PS2 the best as they have the FF Series games - my all time favorites.

PS2 got my vote.

No contest. The Dreamcast is the best console of the current generation, but it can't touch the SNES.

I choose playstation i can still remember the rpg's i played before i left for Korea.....once I was in Korea it was PC all the way.

But I do miss those rpgs i used to play......ff7,and 8 (did not finish 8 did not have enough time) I forgot the name but it was the first
US rpg on the market for the playstation....it totally sucked me up.
The one where u gather 100+ chars form many different parties
fight huge wars.......

I liked Sega Genesis only because of certain games for it that I wish were around today (ghostbusters to name one) but my vote went entirely for the XBOX cause it wipes out other consoles for graphics.

I see no need for a console. All my gaming is on my PC. But if I did buy one, it'd be a Playstation 2 because it has the best variety of games.
