are sdram buffers also pll-ic clock generators. Mine is an IC Works W40S11-23 clock buffer. Ic works website says input frequency is 0-133mhz but I can't seem to access pll-ic on softfsb. It is not listed on the unsupported pll-ic's, so I'm still hoping that I can use softfsb. Has anybody created their own pll-ic on version 1.7. Your expertise would be greatly appreciated. I might have to apologize to socalgal in advance because this is a simlar(but not the same =)) post in overclocking forum. Sorry but this mobo will is about to drive me bonkers.

Hi bigslammer ~

It's possible your board isn't supported. Have you tried checking your mobo manual for the Winbond number or the PLL-IC (aka Clock Generator) numbers on the component diagram? If you can find a match, then you'd be in luck. If not...

Don't worry /forum/smile.gif - duplicate posts are just that - duplicates. Those make responding confusing.

You can't find your board? Have you tried going through the list of boards and seeing if any are compatable? I could not find one of my boards, but it was fully compatable with an Intel board, so it overclocked.
