I am looking at getting the Lian-Li PC V-1000 case. Very unique in its design.

It looks good, the blurb sounds good... I like the idea of the power supply on the bottom (I've been putting mine there for some time), an' its even got brakes ( so it'll stay where you park it)
It's a might pricy though.
If you like it i'd say go for it!
Enjoy!

the case itself is great and lian-li made defenetly looks like a quality product. The inavative design will def help with cooling, the only thing i see with it (besides the price which isnt a problem for some) is that there is not window, and even if u install a window it might look a little odd with all the sections for different stuff although i dunno its just how i imagine it

All I have to say is "who needs a friggin window" We dun wan no steeenkin window".
That case is an awesome design in my opinion, and with a couple of small cable routing mods a la dremel, that case is coming home with me poste haste. Imagine some blue led's pouring forth illumination from within the mesh like structure. And the mother board being mounted with slots up, it's about time.

Glad everyone approves of this. will make for better cooling of your vid card too, plus all the extra cables you have on your PSU can be tucked away right next to your PSU, leaving the airflow more open. Also, making your cables on your HDDs stretch downward will also make it a lot better, that way you dont have them all laying on the bottom of your case. Just love the design, dont know why ATX was not done that way in the first place.

ATX like BTX was developed to allow the OEM manufacturers save a few cents through the elimation of fans. The power supply fan was originally intended to provide 100% of the case ventilation. It still does (albeit poorly) for 90+% of the desktop computors in the world.
Placing the powersupply in the bottom (lower center of gravity) and using a separate fan for ventilation is a significant improve ment IMO.
Enjoy!

That case is a tremendous waste of money.

So make one better, less expensive, and as high a quality and I'll send you the duckets for one.

Yeah, maybe one day I will. Until then I'm just not going to buy that case. It does look like a well thought out case, it just costs way too much for something we all know was made for pennies in China.

Anyone notice this Lian Li case has no reset button? Is this deletion of importance?
Any issues about dust buildup in the many cheesegrater holes?
Thanks.
Looks to me like that case will help the production of sound. Especially through vibration.
