Help!

I have just built myself a new computer (Celeron 366, 64 Mb RAM) and I have installed in it my old CD-ROM Drive (32x) and my old hard drive (freshly formatted).

I booted from the Win 98 CD-ROM to try and install Win 98. I get through the initial period of installation, but when I begin to install any files it gives me:

SUWIN An error has occurred in your application (Ignore/Close)

When closed, I get this error:

Application Error. SUWIN caused a general protection fault in module SETUPX.DLL at 0005:82 ED

I then disabled my cache using the BIOS and tried again. Again it did the same (except I waited for 1 hour rather than 5 mins!)

Can anybody help me?? I can't use my computer........

To resolve this issue, enable virtual memory in Windows 3.1 before running
Windows 95/98 Setup, or quit Windows to MS-DOS, and then run Setup from
MS-DOS. To enable virtual memory in Windows 3.1 before running Windows
95/98 Setup, follow these steps:

1. In the Main group, double-click 386 Enhanced.

2. Click Virtual Memory, and then click Change.

3. In the Type box, click Permanent or Temporary, and then click OK.

I had that problem last week and it ended up being a heat fault in my motherboard/processor. As it was under warranty I was given a new one and the install went without a hitch
