Cold cathode controller

I was wondering if BayBus such as this one http://www.pcabusers.com/reviews/baybus/p1.html will be able to handle turning cold cathodes on and off?

As long as they are DC, yes there should be no problem. It's simply a switch. You will need to hook them up properly as the power will not connect to the switch, but im sure it comes with instructions that will tell you the proper way.

Im pretty sure that molex connector on it is for the power to the LED's on it.

Just make sure each cathode is not above...
Each switch is rated at 8 Watts. Due not exceed this rating or it will void your warranty.

After a little research it seems cold cathode's do not draw to many watts, one like this one.....

yes this would definitly work. all you have to do, is cut the power plug, and put the wire in these (see att.) and leave the transformer on it.

and you'll be good to go...:D

yup thanks fellas... i am thinking of making my own fanbus though cause its going to come out much cheaper and cooler
