I'm planning on getting this motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-121-206&depa=0)

and it says for ecc ram well im also planning on getting a gig of corsair PC-3200 Non-ecc ram will it still run properly on my motherboard? and it talks about dual channel mode could someone explain this to me the gig i am getting is to 512's so it would help if i need this

The motherboard chosen should be compatible with your choice of memory. Specifications states that it should work with either non-ECC or ECC type of memory modules but your can't mix them.
Meaning non-ECC or ECC only!

And, most importantly, only _unbuffered_ DIMM technology. Server grade registered DIMMs don't work here.
