As long as the real deal comes out as good as the specs are saying it will really suck for Sega to once again get there *** kicked by Sony Playstation.

Glad I didn't buy a new Dreamcast cause I can waite till next year till the PS2 comes out.

I can live with my ole CPU till then...

Currently I own only a playstation... and honestly... it kicks booty. The only downside is the loading time.

I was very, VERY impressed that the PSX2 controllers are similar to the original (aren't they the same as the dual shock controllers?). Usually when a new console comes out, they RADICALLY change the controller to something a lot bulkier and more complex. That would be stupid of Sony, because there is nothing wrong with the current ones. So, I applaud that...

I was at the mall last weekend and tested out the Dreamcast... The Graphics were tremendous (I played the Sonic game BTW), gameplay was excellent... BUT the **** controllers were GIGANTIC! Despite that, I'll probably be buying one eventually, along with the PSX2.

elton - its been out for like, what, a few days now - i believe it is selling for $199

i've been an avid Nintendo fan myself - ever since the original in 1985. n64 would be a lot better if they would start making decent games again.... and their new system isnt supposed to come out for like 2 more years - they better hurry up if they dont want to fall behind playstation

For all those grand specs the PSX2 has, it's also far more expensive. Almost double the price of the Dreamcast. Estimated MSRP is $370 US. So you can wait a year+ to pay twice as much. No thanks. I played a Dreamcast and the Graphics are amazing. Well worth the $199 pricetag.
