hi,
my PC is just one big problem
every time i run scandisc i have to fix the boot (something) and the computerscreen just turns into black, it's like the computer just turns off, when it's still on
my explorer-programme doesn't work
i know i should just install everything over again, but there's to much on the disc i don't wanna loose
tell me what to do please

Maybe to start check and make sure your CPU fan is working.
And do a virus check.

i've done a vrius check already and the programme couldn't find any virus at all
the other stuff u said something about, xplain 4 me what that is first thanx, the computer isn't the thing i know most of all

I think what he means is to open the case and check to see that the cooling fan on top of the processor is working. If the processor gets too hot, I can cause all sorts of problems, such as errors, crashes, non-boots, etc. ((ROTHFL.. d@mn right I can cause all kinds of problems! Do it all the time. I=it It was too funny to edit out, though..)

My memory went bad (probably from me screwing around inside hehehe), and it caused similar problems.

Try to be as specific as possible when presenting problems here.. even list the error codes and such if you can. The people helping you here (not really me /forum/smile.gif ) are HARD CORE users/techs/etc, and possess endless knowledge! lol A little thickly laid on, but true..

try booting in safe mode if u can ..... copy all the stuff u need to keep and re-format the hard drive then re-install ur operating system
