It's OK to buy other movies. Cyan 06-01-2004, 11:06 AM I think technology like this is great. That way I can have my dirty movies without havin` people whine over the content, they can just get the edited version. :D leprechaun_40 06-01-2004, 03:16 PM Not only NO, but NO I don't need some moral conservative weirdo making my decisions for me. I also don't need Wally World helping them. I won't buy a CD from them either, cuz they make them change the words if they don't like it. That is a load of horse biscuits and I won't stand for it, absolutely not,!! Wishin I could swear here right now I'm so ticked!!! If these idiots don't want to see it, then they shouldn't watch it, period. Not some "sanitized" version that some jerk thinks is OK,   BTW, I think the moral majority isn't. AMEN TO THAT!!! Cyan 06-01-2004, 06:53 PM Ironically when you say If these idiots don't want to see it, then they shouldn't watch it, period. Not some "sanitized" version that some jerk thinks is OK You are in turn doing a similar thing, if you don't want to watch "clean" flicks, then don't. I don't see any harm in it, the movie is already made, the original DVD already available. It's not like we've got to go to the black market to get the original DVDs... zybch 06-01-2004, 07:31 PM The ClearPlay guys seem to have forgotten that there is a rating system allready in place and has been so for years. You don't let your 12yr old child watch movies that are rated MA or R. Clearplay is just another electronic babysitter to take the place of real parenting, an institution that is virtually non-existant these days. Parents prefer that school teachers and TV teach their kids about sexuality, morals and social skills. This just isn't happening. When I moven into my current house, I was stunned to find out that the next door kids thought it was okay to actually play on MY roof. Mum just said 'kids will be kids' when I confronted her about it. When parents like this stupid female-dog take responsibility for bringing up their own children, the earth will have been sucked into the sun. ClearPlay just lets them put it off for longer. leprechaun_40 06-01-2004, 08:17 PM I agree, it's like the V chip in TV's now. You don't have to be an attentive parent anymore, let your appliances take care of the kids SysOpt.com
