Hi there,

I realy have a problem installing the drivers that came with my mb. I took the new ones from the pcchips page, and still my system locks up while rebooting. This lookup only happens with the ide-driver. I hope you can help me because it't realy depressing knowing there's software to support you mb, but it doesn't work.
Here's my system layout:
mb577,K6/300(not k62) running at 66 mhz, Ide0 master wd 3,2 slave cdd3610 cdwriter philips Ide1 master ibm 3,6 slave 40X liteon cdrom, video 8mb AGP hercules terminator, 64mb 100mhz memory
The Wd is a udma but when enabled in bios the system locks up again. Could it be the low speed of the cd writer (mode 3), everything else is mode 4 or udma 2 so......

I realy hope you can help me because at pcchips they send you from here to there and back.

Thanks in advance Harold
