what do i use for cleaning cpu core?

i believe metho spirits should be satisfactory for cleaning the underside of a hsf, but what about the cpu core??

i want to get rid of my current thermal paste and replace it with arctic silver 5 paste instead...

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just make sure the CPU is completely dry before you apply the AC5.

use acetone to clean off your hsf bottom and cpu core/die. (hardware stores)
keep it away from the cpu base tho, just in case
