I realize that while us nerds who have to push our systems see higher CPU speeds printed to the screen after the bios posts, how do we KNOW we are really running faster?

Are there any benchmarking programs out there that rate system formance and not just video performance?? Does 'Sandra' do that?

3DMark2001 is a good over all system benchmark. Aquamark has cpu tests in it I believe. And yes, sandra does it also. It has a couple of cpu benchmarks.
