I'VE GOT A NEW GATEWAY G6-400, HAD IT SINCE JAN.

I'VE CHANGED THE BATTERY, MEMORY CHIPS AND EVEN FORMATTED THE HARDDRIVE AND REINSTALLED WIN98.

I'M STILL GETTING THIS AND OTHER ERRORS FOR MEMORY.

LOOKING FOR SOME KIND OF HELP OR ADVICE

Are you running any other programs? When do the errors occur? You need to specify more if people are to help.

If you do have a lot of programs that startup when win98 starts up. Try diabling some of them in msconfig. Go to run and type "msconfig". Click on the Startup tab. Uncheck everything except ScanRegistry, TaskMonitor, System Tray, and the 2 LoadPowerProfiles. You can also uncheck items in the config.sys and autoexec.bat.

Check for driver updates also and check out device manager for any conflicts.
I personally have not encountered this specific error. If you still have problems call Gateway.
