Hi. I am looking for a free program that can record sounds coming from the computer microphone for an unlimited time. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot! :D

You will never find any that can record "indefinate time".

A digital recorder with a PC link can do what you want. I have a Panasonic digital recorder that can record up to 16 minutes in very high quality. It will record for 90 minutes in low quality. You can save the files as .wav files.

Have you tried Microsofts built in sound recorder?
If you're using WinXP its sndrec32.exe in the Windows\system32 folder. Click the Help options to learn how to use it.

Doesn't the built-in Sound Recorder have some sort of time limit or something?

Anyway, you could try Audacity. I haven't tried it myself but it looks like you can do lots of useful things with it. Also it's free. You can find it at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ .:t
