Abit BM6 BIOS settings

I have recently built 2 computer systems. The first was an Asus P5A mb with an AMD K6-2 300 MHz processor, and the second has an Abit BM6 mb with an Intel 400 MHz Celeron. Using the Norton System Works system information benchmark I find that the Abit system is running SLOWER than the Asus. I can't figure out why, and assume that I have something wrong in the BIOS setup. The Abit system has newer SDRAM and a better HDD. It should be much faster than the AMD K6 300. Any ideas?
BTW, I realize the Norton System benchmark is simply a "relative" reading, but it should produce readings relative to these two systems.

all norton benchmark does is find the speed at which the cpu access's the memory.
and thats it if you want a good b/m prog try 3dmark99 or final reality or even tiberium
