I spend most of my time reading and searching Google just to get a grip on what you guys are discussing. I've noticed recommendations for AVG. Is this preferable to Avast, Norton, or any others? :)

Prushka 05-26-2004, 01:09 AM Been content with AVG :t fishybawb 05-26-2004, 05:02 AM AntiVir's very good too. http://www.micro.com/antivirus.html Aznmask 05-26-2004, 02:37 PM AVG the best..!! FREE.. and doesn't slow down your pc.. sjd 05-26-2004, 04:37 PM I've been using Avast since my Norton trial period ended, but I'll check out the other two. Thanks for the info. Uncle Bob 05-26-2004, 08:26 PM Trend Micro PC-cillin is a good AV. Comes with a firewall. fancyf 05-26-2004, 08:47 PM Originally posted by fishybawb AntiVir's very good too.Another vote for AntiVir http://www.fancysplace.com/smileys/greythup.gif cdroman 05-26-2004, 09:48 PM Originally posted by fishybawb AntiVir's very good too. http://www.micro.com/antivirus.html Gets my vote too.:t BipolarBill 05-26-2004, 11:45 PM AntiVir rocks because it nags the user to update in case they forget. Another great feature is that it scans for malware, spyware, adware, dialers and quasi-trojans too. Nismo1 05-27-2004, 05:52 PM I prefer NOD32, it is the best AV software in my opinion you can get it at www.nod32.com.au SysOpt.com
