Win ME prob.

Hi.

My friend's friend has win ME and is getting this error:

We seem to think it's a random DLL generated by a worm or virus. Can someone help?

did you scan for viruses and spyware already? did you check the msconfig?

Is this error causing anything to close/not function? Also, was anything installed that caused this (or did it just randomly appeared)?

Dunno if she scanned.

He said that she told him when she clicks the "X" in the corner to close it, it closes all open apps and everything.

I don't know anything about WinME so I can't figure it out.

restart in safe mode, disable system restore, then scan for viruses and spyware as mentioned earlier.

You got some sorta bug there. I have ME and did a search for that file, it don't exist on my 2 machines with ME.

So, my advice, follow the above instructions and let us know.:t
