Need help with sb 16 controller for 1x cd non ide

I am going nuts trying to get this P.O.S. installed.
I am doing it for a buddy who has no $$$ and I am using old stuff, this is a regular old sb16 with a cd controller on it Not IDE the drive is a sony cdu33a, I went to creatives site but they have changed it since I was there before. actually this is the second time I have had to do this cause he killed the computer the other day, but it's been a month or two since I first set it up I was able to find the drivers or whatever the last time but I dont remember how I did it.

Finally came to the conclusion that there ir something wrong with the sound card, win95 does not see it, running "add new hardware" does not find it, installing the newest soundblaster drivers makes it show up in device manager with yellow exclamation marks, and windows 98 says the device is not present or not working properly, so I gently removed it from the system and being a mature proffesional technically skilled guy, I THREW IT AGAINST THE WALL http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
