Heh. Come on Jakk - you know as well as I that Windows is not that bad anymore. It's a great urban legend now. Besides, I doubt that anyone will be pluggin cheap RAM, printers, PCI cards and such into a dedicated science machine. How about freeware, spyware and viruses? Nah - it will be stable. :p

what about the worms that tear threw the common users computer every now and then. it would only take one time for a worm to hit these computers before a patch is released and bam-o... i use windows and would never imagin using anything else nor do i complain. but computers as those... i hope they use norton firewall :D

Tiger, you'll probably find that such machines are kept on VERY secure internal networks and well away from the outside world and all the nasties it brings
