The factory Win 98 install disk puts a cdrom driver in. Loves scsi !Insert Win 98 cd in tray-put in boot disk-turn on machine... Select option 1(Start Win 98 from cdrom), and away you go. It will help you set up your hard drive ,if it isn't set up already.

Since you have the Adaptec card and a scsi cdrom. All you have to do is pop in the win98 cd and boot up. The scsi card will boot from the win98 cd. Love these bootable cds. It will ask if you want to boot from Hard disk or Cdrom. Choose Cdrom. This will basically boot from a win98 startup disk but from the cdrom. You should be able to follow the onscreen menus.
