I know this is not the best place to post this question, but I wasn't sure where else to post. Recently our computer has been bombarded with these "hovering" advertisements which cannot be closed. The page must be refreshed to get them off. THey occur on pages that do not allow ads so I know it must be some type of program that has gotten onto the hard drive. What should I look for? My virus software isn't picking anything up. Could a pop up blocker (like google) be causing it? Please help!!

I haven't ever had any luck with adaware, but I do have cwshredder and it has gotten rid of all the stuff associated with that, this is something completely different. Maybe i just need to update cws. Thanks.

try Opera 7.5 browser with popup blocker. I've been using it and its great to not have any popup ads. Maybe it will block your hovering ads too.
