How to change Win98 Splash screen?

Hey guys and Gals...I once came across a posting that explained how to change the "splash screens" but I lost it :-(
Does any one know how? Thanks in advance!

Go and download TweakUI...it has a function to turn the splash screen off. It's also useful with many other functions. Go to download.com

If you want to change it and you have the new one already made, make a copy of it, rename it logo.sys and place it in the root directory. That should do it.

Change your "wait" and "shut down" too.
find appropriate files, rename them "logos.sys" for shutdown, and "logow.sys" for wait, and put them in the c:\window$ dir.
