Hi,
Please can some one out there help me? I am on freeserve broadband, and it has been working fine up to now. Now it will connect, but I can not get on the web or get my email. I use Internet exploer and express. Also when it is connected it sends things that my familey and I do not want to see and I can not stop it from happening.
I have gone into internet options and the only thing I can see wrong is the name in the default section. I have tyed to delete it and put my home page in but with no luck, it keeps coming back, also these bad sights keep going into my favorites section and when I delete them, they keep coming back. I have gone into add and remove programs and Regedit but with no luck, they will just not go. I am at a loss as I do not no how this happend in the first place. Please can you help.

Sounds like you got spyware.

make sure there are no proxy settings in IE (unless you're supposed to have them).

Also consider switching browsers. Many here use Mozilla or Firefox, both free from www.mozilla.org. Both have the built-in pop-up blocker, and Firefox is optimized for browsing. An entirely new browsing experience, with less headaches. Installation is also a snap.
