Can anybody suggest why i often get errors when launching applications ( mostly games ! ) declaring that "Ddhelp has performed an ilegal operation, this program is terminating.... etc". Once this has happened, I cannot get anything to run without this occuring until I reboot the machine whereupon everything is fine for a while. The error only seems to occur when launching applications - once a program is up and running it is fine & stable.
I am running a single FAT32 10Gb partition on my hard drive - is this part of the problem ?.
