USB on FIC PA-2012

I am running Win95C, and finally (i think) got the usb ports to be recognized in the system. My sidewinder precision pro has a usb adapter, and when I plug it in, it is regognized as "Sidewinder Precison Pro (USB)"..but, in the device manager, it says that the incorrect or no drivers are installed. I re-loaded on the drivers from the CD that I got with the joystick, but still no dice. Are there different USB drivers that I can find somewhere? And is it possible to use an IntelliMouse 1.1 USB mouse, that says "for win98 only" on win95? I would almost switch to 98, but I have too many things on this HD, and don't wanna lose them all by installing win98, which is what happened last time I tried it.
