does anyone know of any good preferablly free internet connection sharing software out there?...what im trying to do is share my internet connection with my roomates ps2 and ics in windows is mysteriously gone(ive tried everything except reformatting pretty much) ...right now were using sygate home network which comes with a 30 day free trial....and im actually debating paying the 39.99 for it once the trail runs out because it works good... it works so good actually we can both play final fantasy 11 at the same time on the same connection ..flawlessly and thats the thing whatever software i use has to support a ps2 .....its almost coming down to pay the 39.99 or reformat and reinstall windows to get the ics back..im not too keen on paying 39.99 for something thats natively built into windows..but im not to keen on backing up my whole pc ,reinstalling everything're-tweaking and re configuring my computer back to the way i like it either....anyone know anything good?

yea its gone ics isnt in there trust me though ive tried everything ics is gone but a good free ics program would make me th ehappiest man alive for about 5 minutes..im gonna try the one you showed me there although it looks quite bulky for what i need it for but if its supports NAT for ics it should be all good ..i dont want to fight with configuring proxies on the ps2 i like dhcp its easy..thanks

Windows version please.
Would it be too much to ask to write in proper English with capital letters and full punctuation?

Did you run the Home Networking Wizard?

If he uses AnalogX, he will have to set security or spammers will start bouncing their wares off of it and he's end up disconnected from his ISP.
Sygate is much better.

Thats the thing ...the home networking wizard just will not start....i mean will not start...i click on it my cursor changes to an hourglass for about .5 seconds then nothing...Best thing would be to fix that problem.
But it feels like ive exhausted all my options in that department so i decided to try third party software and sygate works better than i could of ever expected its just id like to find if there is something free that will do the same thing as sygate before i go ahead and put 60 canadian dollars on my credit card for a stupid 3 user licsence.

You could reinstall/repair XP:

You could also try AnalogX Proxy, but you MUST secure it.

at this point, you should just get a router. it will pay for itself in the long run.
