Has anyone heard about ordering drugs, to the US, from Canada? I think it would be great competition for the US drug prices that are out of control.

Yep. A mailing list I'm on has a guy in Detroit who'll go to the doctor, get a prescription, and then go across the border and get it filled waaay cheaper.
