After installing Win95 i always get a PCI cardin other devices underdevice manager
also it says that no drivers are installed for it. Everything is correctly installed ie
my sound card network card graphic card cdrom
etc.
Network card is PNP NE2000 COMPATIBLE and i use the driver disk for the drivers
also Diamond viper v330 creative Cdrom 32xx
and Pnp sound card Creative 16
everything shows upand works but i can't figure out what the hell is this Pci card.
and why is it not installed properly.
i have been ignoring it so far but now i have to know why.
Also i don't have any PCMCIA etc as it is a desktop Tower.

I think if you use a version of win95 prior
to ver 95b you loose USB (universal serial bus)support (drivers),,, notice if your plug
and play bios doesn't detect a usb controller
on an irq the same as the PCI card in the
?Other devices in device manager. Some motherboard manufacturers supply you w/ the
updates onboard that are later than Win95.
I have one board that did & one that didn't.
Haven't found a conflict w/ either. Network
cards on both also, & pci viper 330, fancy that. Has nothing to do w/ it though.

Have you tried to take it out through the Remove command on Control Panel/ Device Manager/ System and see if it tries to reinstall it at startup? If it doesn't, you're home free, dude. If not, I just say "Huh?"

also, if you're not using USB, disable it in CMOS.

removal in device manager & disabling in bios
