I'm soon to get a broadband connection and was wondering what i'd need to sort myself out. I know if i get a ADSL modem/router i can have a small network with desktop pc's. If however i wanted to make my laptop be able to search the net about the house i'd need a wireless ADSL modem/router rite??? Will it be able to also house my desktop pc's, or will only wireless pooters be compatible? I'm confuzzled, can anybody enlighten me?

Thanks!

it's harder to find an all in one modem/router, especially wireless. If anything, you could get a separate modem and a wireless router.

you can have both wired and wireless clients on most wireless routers.

Make sure to get an 802.11G router. DLink, Netgear, and Linksys are all solid companies. No matter which vendor you choose, use the same brand of NIC and router. then you won't get the "finger pointing" if you call tech support.
