I'm currently building my own system for the first time. I bought a case "touch atx mid-tower" for my abit bx6 r2 MB. I put an intel p2 450 inside with 128mb pc100 sdram and asus v34000 vid card. My question is, do I need a(or two)fans for the interior of my case? I know the cpu comes with one(retail) and my asus vid card has one. Is this sufficient for cool the entire case to a safe level. Or should I install some more fans. My MB has connections for two more fans. Is it safe, for now(testing and setup), to run my system with all installed components with the case cover off? OR should buy some fans asap to install.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

at the very least, i would put a case fan (or gamma28 squirrel fan) in the front to draw in air. you also have a fan in the power supply which is probably pushing air out of the case. more than that you probably don't need unless you start overclocking any of your components.

for setup, just the cover off should be fine. i used to use a regular room fan blowing in til i salvaged some case fans from broken power supplies.
