Has it gone the way of Spybot, no more updates?

That's not a long time :D

I noticed that one recent update was a complete program update (3.0 to 3.1). Maybe that's what they're doing.

And is Spybot's lack of updates a permanent thing?

I think they are working on a new spybot.

I downloaded rc3 like three weeks ago and now they are up to rc5.

If memory serves, SpywareBlaster 3.1 was updating about twice a week. Perhaps they're working on something new.
