Hello fellow sysopters.
I'll be out of town about the rest of this month. My mother passed away on May 3 from bone cancer and related complications.
I'll thank you in advance for all your patience, best wishes, etc.

Hello again. I'm finally back home after a month away. Yeah, a whole month. I not only had to take care of my mothers estate, but had to find all the paperwork on her IRA's and life ins. What a mess that was. Mostly taken care of now but I have to wait for a bit more paperwork so I can retitle the car I inherited ( 74 Olds Delta 88 Royale, convertible with a 455 Rocket V8 ).
I also had to sell my house there, as my daughter wanted to move. What a nightmare. First had to find a buyer and then move all my stuff into a rental truck, plus get a trailer for the car. 5 days of driving later, I'm home, whoopeee.
Thanks for your prayers, etc. I still have bad moments, but time will heal.

Driving 1,850 miles in a 15 foot truck with a 20 foot trailer behind it in bad weather wasn't fun.:(
A severe crosswind for about 500 miles or so, thought I was going to lose it a few times there. However, after looking in the truck tonight, all seems to have made the trip without incident, yeah!:t

Thankyou Fancyf, and yes, I'm happy to be home again. A month is a long time to be away, especially under these circumstances.:-@
Leprechaun, please accept my condolences,
and when you feel up to it would you please start a thread and let us know more about the specs of the convertable! and a photo if you can, it sounds like one of the last models of a great motoring tradition, your Mom must have been a great lady with a strong will to fight the pressure to conform and get a toyota or something similar. no matter what the gas prices reach try to hang on to this classic.
