Modem Disconnects Me When Logging In

I just installed a second drive and transferred my ISP dial in software to the new drive.
When I try to log in from this drive, I immediately get disconnected.
The ISP dial in works perfectly from the other drive when I switch cables to make it the bootup drive.
Before I get disconnected I usually get something like an Invalid Password warning but
I know that I am putting in the correct password.
Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

Try reinstalling ISP software to second drive
