Ok, the P2P program i am using is warez and it says when using a firewall you need to set a port. I don't know how to do that.
First pic is the port menu of the linksys firmware. My IP address is blacked out.
[edit] What is the"start" and "end"

Easy pick a port....like 1700 and put that number in that box. Then on the linksys setup put 1700 in the start and end boxes and the local IP address of your machine. Example 192.168.1.XXX That way it will forward the data coming on on that port to your machine so the P2P will put it up from there. Give that a try and let know

It sure does look that way...if 0-random and you want to set it the only other option in my mind is to place a number in there and give it a try. If it was a set port number it would tell you to open just that port in your firewall/router. Since it doesn't and it wants you to either leave it random or pick on I would just go ahead and pop a number in and see what happens. After all it is not like WW3 will start...oh course unless you pick the wrong port..then we are all doomed....lol
Give it a try and let me know
