At present I have cable modem with wireless networking . Router/Desktop and PCMCIA card/laptop.
My question is: I am thinking about changing to DSL to save money. What will I have to change in my networking, if any? How much speed will I loose? I am not fond of my present speed in surfing, but downloading is super fast. Can I still have both PC's online at the time? Thanks.

Not much is going to change in your setup, unless your new DSL will require PPoE authentication. If thats the case, its as simple as putting the user name and password in the router, and you are good to go.

The speed of the DSL will probably be less than that of the cable though.
