I am trying to setup a dual boot machine, Windows 98 and Windows NT Server. I have an IBM 10G drive running on the on-board IDE controller of an ASUS P2B-D motherboard. I have setup as follows: First partition = 1G, FAT16 (has win98 installed), second partition = 2G, NTFS (has winnt server installed). I want to use the remaining 7G for win98. When I run fdisk under win98, I can create a 7G FAT32 partition, but when I go to create the logical drive it only allows 5G.

Use software that came with drive to get past the 8 MB limit on system.

First thing to consider: You can't have a dual boot with an NTFs partition. Both system s (win 98 and nt) should be in fat 16.
