TweakUI removes Quick Launch?

Win98 Quick Launch option is removed when using Tweak UI 98 - even by R clicking on the taskbar in order to get the option choice, the options come up greyed out! Twice, yet! Any registry setting I can modify or any suggestions for restoring (other than re-installing Win98) Thanks, Donn

Hi Donn ~

To get your Quick Launch toolbar back, you have to go back into TweakUI and in IE4 tab check:

Active Desktop enabled
Allow changes to Active Desktop
IE4 enabled

Socalgal Can't be sure because I'm running 95 at work, but I thought you only needed IE4 enabled to get quick launch back.

Hi steves, well you know I had to check that out as soon as I got home /forum/wink.gif .. You are Correct! Thanks for that info.

Now I wonder, what are the advantages/disadvantages of leaving Active Desktop/Allow Changes... unchecked, besides the obvious?
