HI,
I'm using the MsOffice 97 French Version. The only problem i'm having is MsWords. I can't convert .doc to MAC format, it is not available in the type of file roll up. CAn anyone of you direct me where i can download that cnverter file. So far Micorsoft website was no help.

I'm still searching through the whole internet. I would appreaciate anyone who faces the same problem to post it here

Thanks.
George.

Kgb,

I take it you have to work with both formats/os's. With my wife being a school teacher we have BOTH types in the house. the easiest way to do this is to save the "doc" as a "txt" file and if you are using MAC OS 7.6 or higher (PC Exchange is built into the OS) it will read the PC formated disk and will work with your "doc" files. Maybe a bit more info on what OS version you have and word processesor program (ms office/clairis works ect.) on the MAC

Thanks for your suggestion. I will use that format. I'm afraid it's gonna "screw" some macros or whatever the normal.dot uses. But I would like to get the file and keep it as a back up. If anyone can email that that converting file i would appreciate.

Yes you will lose some of the formating of the document using the above way of doing it. My wife doesnt use any macro's in her "word" documents so they convert to a text file very easlily. If you are wanting to use a word document with macros and want to beable to use them your best bet is to use Microsoft's office97 for Macintosh on the MAC and continue to use office97 on the PC.

No CHEAP answers when it comes to MAC's /forum/frown.gif
