Sounds interesting, at least theyre finally admittign the leake wasnt the cause of the delays, though much of what's written here wont be news to those whove seen the Beta/Alpha

I don't exactly call that owning up. I call that utter horsecrap. A scheduling problem? What, the lead developer at Valve didn't know they were nearly a bloody year behind schedule? I'm sure all those who bought 9800 XT's are relieved that it was a scheduling mistake that he just kept on repeating like a bloody parrot.

I heard its going to come out the same time as Doom4 :), a load of horse wally is all I can say. lost interest. it will be out when its out, and im sure its going to be a long time, as far as him owning up, ************************************************** ************************************************* and thats just a small part of what I could say :)

Don't quote me on this .but iI trully believe Doom 3 will be out in June....This is from the various info I got on different game sites....and yes before HL2....which i tend to believe the mentioned time..this summer as a sure bet....

Get out your pocketbooks ...because they are going to be spendy....About $50-55 for Doom 3 and probably the same for HL2..so save your pennies and eat TV dinners or something....

By the end of September..we are going to get a busload of really good games..an it is going to be quite exciting for all PC gamers...

There are some others coming out that will rivel both those games a bit also...and I am paying close attention....
Game makers are really getting the idea that ALOT of us like and want good first person shooters..and they are trying to deliver....Hooya!

If I get HL2, and that's a big IF with how Valve has acted, it won't be the steam version as I don't want half a gig of **** being loaded to my HDD just for the sake of it whenever Valve feels like it. I'll just buy the cheaper SP/non-steam version IF I do buy it at all.

Doom 3, buying regardless of price unless it gets really poor reviews (which would mean that it is truly bad for tem to dare give iD a bad review). iD, while making the customer wait, wasn't taking a leak on the customers and partners for extra profits as I view Valve has done and still not properly owned up to in the least. Gabe should become a politician in my eyes as that is about the level he eventually owns up to things, unbelievable excuses. He isn't some lackey, so he should know his own company, but he claims complete ignorance of it when it suits him best such as now. Gabe Newell for President? :)
