I don't think so. There's no support in NT4 for DirectX 6. It has D3 support I think. And doesn't DVD need to use D6.

NT4 does not support DVD.
The highest version you can install is DirectX 3 (installed with sp3)

Well, NT4 does in fact take the Dx6.1 install, and it works. I have to point out that its a matter of security access to the hardware that NT does not allow, not the fact that DX doesnt work with it. You see, without a DVD dedicated card, NT just doesn't like this kind of software accessing a video card. There are professional video solutions out there, but money would be a concern to most people.

in totally agree with bleeding edge as well.....
nt doesnt support half of the api's of dx6......
I EVEN TRIED IT ONCE when i was running nt......
it didnt even install... came up with an in compatablity prob with the os.....
