Call of Duty IP addresses?

Hello,

I play Call of Duty online sometimes. I hate hitting that list and looking through all of them to see my friends.

I was wondering if there is a way which would allow me to simply enter my friends' IP addresses and connect that way?

I have done so before with the drop-down console box. However, how can we obtain our own IP addresses?

that'll tell you your IP addy, and if u tell ur friends to go there, it'll tell them their's too...

If you have ADIA32 that will tell you your own IP address also.

Well, I went to www.ipchicken.com and got my IP address. Only problem is knowing what port to use for the game, like in Halo.

I did get the message "remote port": xxxx

Can I use that one?
