I know the normal proceedure to save your password. But my computer boots up on windows logon instead of user. Network settings in control panel shows logon is
where it should be. What am i missing?

What the hell are you talking about. first of all if you dont want winlogon.. then del your pwl file restart and dont input a password.. second if u are on a lan and getting both logon msgs.. of microsoft network logon and winlogon.. and u dont want winlogon.. do the same thing as described earlier.. third if u want to save ur passwords.. make sure DUN is installed and that autologon in registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Network\Real Mode Net

is disabled and password caching is enabled in reg key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Network
