That's a loaded question. The biggest thing about tech support is the experience of dealing with people and the system. We'd need more info on what exactly you had in mind on the home based, online PC sales. Look how many are out there doing it already. How are you going to be different then them?

No, but you will need a business license, sales tax permit, various insurances, Federal tax ID number and on and on and on.

Not to mention, the ability to accept credit cards. See your bank. It might be a hassle.
